part i.
Character name:
Sebastian Moran
Fandom:
BBC's Sherlock (fandom OC)
Species:
Human
Character powers:
n/a, but he is a good shot with guns, if that's at all helpful!

part ii.
1.) Is it acceptable for your character to be mind-controlled or persuaded? How susceptible are they to mind control, hypnotism, or suggestion?
Moran is not likely to be too easily swayed by suggestion, so hypnotism will be difficult to pull over on him. However, mind-control and supernatural means will be completely effective. I would prefer, however, to be asked about this before it's done.
2.) Is it acceptable for your character to have their mind read? Does this include traumatic memories? What is their mind like (disturbing, orderly, joyful, surprisingly empty, etc.)? If the character has psychic walls or preventative measures against psychic interference, please explain.
Again, I'd like to be asked before it's done, but Moran has no way of preventing anything like this. For all that his mind is fairly violent and bloody, he's actually usually pretty calm. Memories of the ambush that took him out of the war are gorey and resonate with trauma, physical and mental. Most other violent experiences, however, are what they are. If you need any details on specific memories or thoughts, just let me know!
3.) Are thoughts mentioned in narration acceptable for a telepath to pick up?
Most of the time, yes. If there are times in the narration I'd prefer them not to be, I'll try and make special notation of it.
4.) What about emotions, in the case of an empath? What sort of general emotional reading would such a character receive from yours?
People able to read emotions might feel the tug at the leash. Moran is pretty well set in society and calm on the outside, but there's a lethal force inside.
5.) Are there any aspects of your character's mind, emotions, or memories you would like to be picked up, mentioned, or used in character? Conversely, is there anything that should not be noticed, or at least never mentioned?
I would prefer that (without the established CR to back it up) Moran's past illegal activies not to be picked up on ICly, especially not spread around. Again, this isn't set in stone, so if it becomes an issue, I'm willing to talk about it with other players!

part iii.
1.) Physically speaking, what stands out about your character? Imposing size? Physical scarring? Tattoos?
Moran stands 6'2", and most of his weight is muscle. He is a trained soldier and has the stance and build to show it off. He has collected a wide array of tattoos over the years and doesn't typically care if they're visible or not unless they need to not be for "professional" reasons.
2.) Is your character immune to any of the following: poisons, chemical agents, telekinetic influence, radiation, or types of illnesses?
Sebastian's fairly healthy, but he has no special immunities.
3.) Is your character physiologically different from a human in any way? This can include their blood, skin, hair, et cetera being made up of something unusual or simply differing in construction and durability.
Nope!
4.) Are you amenable to having your character be harmed in any way? How far are you comfortable with injury to you character going? Does this include being fed on by vampires, willingly or unwillingly?
I don't want him turned by a vampire or werewolf, but I am totally up for major (non-fatal) injuries. Amputation of limbs may be going a bit far, but, well, if the thread seems to call for it, we can revisit that then. It's not totally off the table.
5.) Is it acceptable for other characters with abilities of shapeshifting or disguise to imitate your character? Does this include ability mimicry?
Sure! Just warn me before it happens.

part iv.
1.) Can your character's presence or aura be noticed by other characters, and how would it look/feel to them? How would it manifest to a character with no supernatural abilities, if at all?
Any presence or aura Moran has is entirely human. He does have power for what he is, though, and a good deal of confidence.
2.) Can your character be affected by magic spells and curses?
Yes.
3.) Can your character be affected by sin and corruption, and be tempted toward expressing their darker urges (of whatever flavor)?
Definitely. It doesn't take much work, actually, getting Moran to express a darker side.
4.) What sort of sins is the character prone toward, and how might they best be tempted, if you are interested in such an event?
Wrath, pride, and lust are the major sins Moran is prone toward. Pride is harder to tempt him into, as it takes some work to make him actually brag. However, he is usually confident in his abilities, and challenging them can bring it out. With wrath and lust, he needs only the opportunity most times to fight or fall into bed (or against a wall or... wherever) with someone to do it.
5.) Are you amenable to the character receiving prophetic visions, including as part of a plot?
Sure. They'd be a little wasted on him, perhaps, as he might disregard them, but if that's something someone wanted to do, I'd be up for it.

part v.
1.) Is threadjacking allowed? Under what circumstances?
Yes! I do ask that people try not to carry on whole, long conversations with a third party when threadjacking without asking (sometimes it totally sets the mood, and that's fine, just check first!), but, on the whole, I'm cool with threadjacking. Moran may snip at characters who do it when he's stressed or who make a habit of it, but I won't mind.
2.) Is it acceptable for canonmates that are updated further than yours to inform your character of events yours has not yet experienced?
This won't be an issue until BBC airs their third season, so it will depend on how that goes!
3.) Are there triggering or upsetting topics you would like other characters to avoid mentioning to yours for the sake of continued comfort (racist words, homophobia, self-injury, etc.)?
Nope! Moran's pretty hard to offend.
4.) Are there any additions you would like us to make to this survey?
Not that I can think of!
